<b>Location.</b>Nestled high atop a privately owned mountain in Vail Valley Colo., The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera provides intimate getaways and invigorating ski holidays. Vail/Eagle County Airport is 15 miles west of the hotel and shuttle services provide convenient transport. <br><b>Hotel Features.</b>Guests can appreciate chateau-style architecture and sweeping mountain views at The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera. The hotel spa features nourishing skin treatments such as Chai tea masks and exfoliating salt scrubs. Other specialties include hot stone massages and reflexology, spa manicures and caviar facials. During warm months, guests enjoy golf at four on-site courses, tennis on asphalt courts and hikes along the resort's 17 maintained trails. The hotel will also arrange fly fishing expeditions, horseback riding and whitewater rafting. Refreshing pools and spa tubs relax sore muscles after activities. Skiing is a huge tourist draw, and guests enjoy the amenities of the Mountain Club at the base of Beaver Creek. Wedding receptions and corporate events are held in the 1600 square foot Summit Room or the 700 square foot Alpenglow Room, both with outdoor terraces. Four dining options include extensive wine lists at Mirador and Irish pub fare at Grouse on the Green.<br><br><b>Guestrooms.</b> Spacious and stylish, various guestrooms are available with fireplaces, mountain views and balconies. The Jack Nicklaus Signature Design Summit Course, Hale Irwin Mountain Course, Tom Fazio Valley Course and the Dave Pelz Short Course are at an elevation of 7,200 feet or above.

Driving directions from Denver International Airport: <br> Exit the airport on Pena Blvd and continue south for about 10 miles. <br> Take Exit 1A / I-70, and proceed west on I-70 for about 121 miles. <br> Take Exit 163 / Edwards. At the bottom of the exit ramp, <br> turn left onto Beaver Creek Rd, which becomes Edwards Access Rd, <br> and proceed for one-half mile. At the third traffic light, turn right <br> onto US-6 and proceed west for about 2.5 miles. <br> Turn left onto Squaw Creek Dr and proceed for two miles. <br> Turn left onto Cordillera Way to the gated entrance to Cordillera. <br> Check in, and then proceed up Cordillera Way for two miles to hotel. <br> Approximate driving time is 2 hours 35 minutes and distance is 140 miles. |
